Admissions Process
Our admissions process is simple yet thorough. We like to meet with everyone who applies so they can get to know us as well as we get to know them. Below are the steps you can expect to go through if you decide The Chef's Academy is the place to start your culinary or hospitality career.
- Inquire
- Plan a visit to come in for an Admissions Appointment
- Receive a recommendation for the program from the admissions representative
- Take (and pass) the assessment
- Pay a $50 application fee and complete admissions paperwork
- Receive an acceptance letter
- Attend Strategies for Success
- Attend graduation preview
- Sit in class
Additionally:
- Students must have a high school diploma or GED prior to sitting in class at The Chef's Academy
- A student can complete the admissions process and be ready to sit in class within 24 to 48 hours
- Seats are first come first serve and are limited each and every start
- Students interested in housing will have to meet with the director of admissions, complete an application and pay a security deposit
