Student Life at The Chef’s Academy
Outside of Cooking We Like, Well, Cooking.
Looking for a little break from the grind of 5-6 hours a day in the classroom and the kitchen? Our students have a wide range of ways they like to relax.
Take the VIP banquet at the Heartland Film Festival, for instance. We've had several students cook for that. There's our Clash of the Tailgaters before the first weekend of football each year. They love to participate in that. Of course, they can't wait to show their wares in the Chili Cook-Off. And a number of our students learned what they were thankful for this year by preparing Thanksgiving turkeys for the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis.
Starting to see a trend? Student life at The Chef's Academy involves food. It's not like we don't like to party, though. In fact, somebody's probably whipping up a menu for a dinner party as we speak.
We also have a number of Clubs and Organizations including travel and tourism, ice carving, gardening, beer brewing and sports and activities as well as peer-to-peer tutoring and writing workshops in case you're interested.
