Job Hunting, Application and Interview Assistance

Think You're the Most Qualified? Here’s How You Prove It

As we've mentioned throughout this site, our philosophy on career assistance is that it should start before you even start classes. You should begin to recognize that you're building a reputation one way or another from day one. In many cases, before you even realize people know who you are.

Then around half way to your degree, we formalize things with classes. Resume and cover letter skills. Mock interviews. PowerPoint presentations on the best way to portray yourself on social media sites (our students have more than 20 videos with more than 5000 collective hits on YouTube). Even unwritten rules like when the best time is to set up an interview with a chef so you don't interrupt a busy schedule.

When it comes time to hunt for the job you want after graduation, we think you'll find our connections invaluable. From the official, like the Advisory Board and our Industry Partnerships, to the unofficial, like personal friends of instructors and alumni, no motivated graduate of The Chef's Academy is left wanting for possibilities.

Because as any employer will tell you, being qualified for the job is only half the battle.
